Everything was exeptional! The ward was clean, the food - hot & on time, the nurses need a medal - so kind & helpful. Whilst here at lunch time - the staff put a white table up + artificial flowers, then pulled as many patients as possible to sit at it! All in their own time & I thought so dedicated

*The Chaucer ward staff are attentive and supportive. *Chaucer ward has a homely and reassuring atmosphere that is rarely found elsewhere. *The physio department is excellent and deserves a special mention. *Most of all, Chaucer ward functions as a team, people communicate, can be relied upon to pass messages, and work together, again rarely found. *Minor criticism - I would rather consultants were more empathetic. Generally, though not all, talk over me, through me or about me in earshot. Medically they have been good but they are still dealing with my emotions as well as physically.
